INDEPENDENCE DAY OF BANGLADESH
The 16th December is a red letter day in the history of Bangladesh. On this day we
achieved victory at the cost of a bloody battle and Bangladesh became independent. We came into being and
Occupied a place in the world map as an independent country. Every year we observe this
day with great solemnity in many places in our country . We remember the supreme sacrifice of the heroic sons who died
for the country in 1971 and pray for them. The day begins with gun
shot. The whole country wears a festíve look on this day. The natíonal flag is hoisted on the top of each
house,behicles and on the shops. Many meetings, seminars, symposiums and discussions are held on this day. People of all
walks of life go to the national mausoleum and offer flowers there as a symbol of profound
homage to the myrteres valiant soldíers, This day is a day of great joy, hope and inspiration for the bangali people. The bangali people inspire to love our country by this day.
This victory symbolízes victory against ínjustíce tyranny and falsehood. This day we
remain ever fresh and eye green in the heart of each and every Bangalee. We should recpect this day and recpect the liberation war myrtyr's. This day is a red letter day in our national calander. We should recpect this day.
